Amarok 2H (2010–2020, our full coverage window for this model): VW's first-generation Amarok runs Immobiliser 4/5 on most NZ variants, with keyless proximity entry introduced on higher-spec Highline/Aventura trims from around 2016. These later keyless variants use MQB-derived architecture, so all-keys-lost recovery means pulling data from the instrument cluster or comfort module rather than a straight OBD write — the same approach as the newer Golf and Tiguan.
