Honda Freed Key Systems
The Freed's key system depends mainly on which generation and grade you have. Older models typically run a basic transponder key, often with a separate remote for the power sliding doors. Newer imports more commonly carry a smart/proximity key with push-button start. As with other used-import Hondas, it's not unusual for a Freed to arrive in NZ with only one key or with registration that needs checking.
