Honda Odyssey Key Systems

Older Odysseys typically use a conventional transponder key — a chipped blade, often paired with a separate remote for the sliding doors and central locking. These are generally the most affordable Odyssey key jobs we do. From the mid-2010s onward, higher-grade Odysseys moved to a smart/proximity key with push-button start, which also controls the power sliding doors on many models.

Because so many Odysseys in Hamilton arrived as used imports, it's common for a van to turn up with only one key, or with a key that was never properly re-registered to the vehicle's immobiliser after import.
