MG5 Key System and What We Can Do

The MG5 uses a smart proximity key programmed via the OBD port into the vehicle's immobiliser. With a working key available, we cut and program a spare at your car. If every key is lost, we carry out all-keys-lost recovery — reading the immobiliser, generating a new key registration, and deleting the lost key's codes so it can never start the car again.
