Ford's key security has evolved considerably across the generations of vehicles currently on Waikato roads.

Tibbe key (older Ford models, pre-2010): The distinctive rotating-cut Tibbe key was used on Focus, Fiesta and older Transit models. These are cut differently from standard blade keys — the cuts rotate around the key shaft rather than running along the top. We cut Tibbe keys from the key code or from the lock profile.
